It may be considered for mild laxity and skin firmness without a needle-based procedure. At Glassy, your dermatologist plans the area, intensity or product around your skin and goals, with comfort considered throughout.
Firming is different from a surgical lift. The exact handpiece and skin condition affect suitability.
Downtime, aftercare and side effects
Downtime:
Short-term redness or warmth may occur.
During treatment:
A warming sensation; report any area that feels too hot.
Aftercare:
Ask about skincare, exercise and pressure on the treated area before leaving. Follow the instructions for your actual procedure rather than another treatment’s routine.
If you are concerned:
Contact the clinic if symptoms are worsening or do not match the advice you were given.
Heat treatments can cause burns or pigment changes. Share any implants and previous procedures with your doctor.
Who should not have it?
Your dermatologist checks suitability before treatment. Tell us if you:
Have an active infection, broken skin or a new unexplained rash in the area.
Have a known allergy to a proposed product or numbing medicine.
Take medicines, have a medical condition, or have had recent treatment in the same area.
Are pregnant or breastfeeding. Your doctor will discuss whether to postpone the proposed procedure.
Have an implanted electronic device or metal near the proposed area. Tell your doctor before energy-based treatment.

Your plan depends on the area, product or device, and any combined care. Ask the clinic for the total before deciding.

Is TORR RF microneedling?
No. The external handpieces described here deliver energy through skin contact, rather than inserting needles.
How many sessions will I need?
The number of visits and spacing are personalized. We discuss a starting plan and review your response before recommending further treatment.
Can I combine it with another treatment?
Tell the clinic what you have recently had and what you are planning. Combining procedures is a separate decision; it depends on your skin, the products and the time available for recovery.
