GLT™ Collagen Healer at a glance
How we do it at Glassy Skin Clinic
Additional delivery options for pores & scars
Delivery options for pores and scars. For enlarged pores, pitted acne scars, texture or wrinkles, we may deliver Juvelook with the needle-free CureJet injector or with Potenza RF microneedling (delivery methods). [10][11][12] At our clinic, depending on your skin concern, Re2O can also be delivered with the Hycoox injector, CureJet or Potenza. With Potenza, we apply Juvelook first, then repeat passes so it reaches deeper and more evenly. For deep, depressed scars or deep scar-like wrinkles, we use hand injection, and for scars we can combine it with CO₂ gas-assisted subcision using TRIFILL Pro (MCURE, Korea). Which method, or combination, suits you depends on your skin concern, how severe it is, and your dermatologist's assessment.

Who is it for?
It may suit you if you have:
Under-eye hollows and tear troughs are volume loss. We treat them with GLT™ Collagen Volume Lifting instead.
All skin tones. In our clinic's experience, Juvelook works for all skin tones, and many patients notice brighter, smoother-looking skin. In an animal study in mice, PDLLA filler reduced UVB-induced pigmentation by limiting damage to the skin's basement membrane; this hasn't been shown in people. [14]

GLT™ Collagen Healer or GLT™ Collagen Volume Lifting: what's the difference?
GLT™ Collagen Healer with Juvelook improves the quality of your skin, while GLT™ Collagen Volume Lifting with Juvelook Volume restores volume you have lost. Both use a Juvelook collagen stimulator made by Vaim, and both are performed by a board-certified dermatologist with GLT™ (Gentle Layered Treatment). The difference is the product, the layer and the tool.
| GLT™ Collagen Healer with Juvelook | GLT™ Collagen Volume Lifting with Juvelook Volume | |
|---|---|---|
| Goal | Better skin quality: glow and a smoother, glass-skin texture | Restoring lost volume |
| Typical concerns | Dry skin, rough texture, fine lines, dullness | Hollows and volume loss |
| Product | Juvelook | Juvelook Volume (sold as Lenisna in some markets) |
| Particle size and layer | Smaller particles (20–40 µm, per the manufacturer), placed in the dermis | Larger particles (40–80 µm, per the manufacturer), placed in the deep dermis and fat layer |
| Tool | Hycoox 9-needle injector | Blunt cannula, designed to reduce discomfort |
| Areas | Full face (except the eye area), plus the under-eye area for fine lines and dry, crepey skin (0.5 cc, shallowest skin layer) | Usually under-eye hollows and tear trough together with the mid-cheek; also temples and smile lines |
| Typical plan | Even one session gives results. For the best results, 3 or more sessions, 1 to 3 months apart | Even one session gives results. For the best results, usually 3 sessions, 6 to 12 weeks apart |
| Massage | Optional; no daily home routine | Right after treatment, a nurse trained by our dermatologists shows you how to massage the area firmly for 1–2 minutes, and your dermatologist checks once more that you're doing it correctly; no daily home routine |
| Downtime | In our clinic's experience, most patients can wear makeup right after treatment and go back to work the same day | In our clinic's experience, most patients can wear makeup right after treatment and go back to work the same day, including after under-eye treatment with a cannula |
In our clinic's experience, the Healer doesn't cause swelling, because the product is placed very close to the skin surface. The Hycoox injector has 9 fine needles, so you may see small red marks for 1–3 days (up to 1–7 days if you have sensitive skin). After Volume Lifting, swelling lasts 3–7 days on average; in some people it can last 10–14 days. In our clinic's experience this is part of the normal response as your skin starts building collagen. Bruising is uncommon, and if it happens, it usually clears within about 2 weeks. After either treatment, avoid facial massage at other salons or spas for at least 2 weeks. Pressure and friction can temporarily disrupt the skin barrier.
Which one do I need?
Can I have both?
Yes, and both can be done on the same day. Many patients have both texture concerns and volume loss, and the two treatments go into different layers. The order doesn't matter medically. Because the Healer, with its 9-needle injector at the skin surface, can feel more uncomfortable than Volume Lifting, our clinic usually does the Healer first, putting your comfort first. For Volume Lifting, the local anesthetic injection at the cannula entry point stings only briefly, for about a second, and in our clinic's experience most patients describe it as having little discomfort. Your dermatologist will confirm at consultation whether you need one or both, and how to plan them around your visits to Seoul.
Why sessions matter: one session already stimulates collagen, which suits patients who visit Seoul once or twice a year. Think of it like exercise. One workout stimulates the muscle, but visible growth needs regular sessions. Collagen stimulation works the same way. With Volume Lifting, in principle, your own collagen starts to form from about one month after treatment and keeps building over the second and third months and beyond.

Both on the same day? Yes; they go into different layers. The Healer's injector at the skin surface can feel more uncomfortable, so for your comfort we usually do the Healer first.
Who should not have it?
It may not be right for you if you:
Tell your dermatologist if you take blood-thinning medication; an expert consensus on PDLLA advises extra caution. [3] For GLT™ Collagen Healer you usually don't need to stop it; for GLT™ Collagen Volume Lifting, see the FAQ on our GLT™ Collagen Volume Lifting page.

Your questions
Frequently asked questions
What is GLT™ Collagen Healer?
It's Glassy Skin Clinic's skin-quality program for fine lines, rough texture, enlarged-looking pores, dryness and dullness. A board-certified dermatologist places Juvelook or Re2O in thin layers in the skin with GLT™ (Gentle Layered Treatment). The goal is a smoother, glowing glass-skin texture, not added volume.
Should I choose Juvelook or Re2O?
Juvelook mainly prompts your skin to build its own collagen over time. Re2O supplies collagen from human acellular dermal matrix directly to the skin. Your dermatologist recommends one at consultation, based on your skin and goals.
Can GLT™ Collagen Healer treat under-eye fine lines?
Yes. We place 0.5 cc of Juvelook in the shallowest skin layer under the eyes with a Hycoox 9-needle injector, after numbing cream applied for at least 30 minutes. It treats fine lines and dry, crepey skin. It isn't designed for hollows or tear troughs, which we treat with GLT™ Collagen Volume Lifting.
How many sessions do I need?
One session gives results, which suits patients who visit once or twice a year. For fuller results with Juvelook, plan 3 or more sessions, 1 to 3 months apart. For Re2O, a 2026 clinical trial used 3 sessions, 1 month apart, and we recommend 4 weeks apart; in our clinic's experience, even one Re2O session a year can make a difference. Your dermatologist confirms your plan at consultation.
Can I go back to work the same day?
In our clinic's experience, most patients can wear makeup right after treatment and go back to work the same day. Skin-layer treatment doesn't cause swelling, because the product is placed very close to the skin surface. The Hycoox injector has 9 fine needles, so you may see small red marks for 1–3 days (up to 1–7 days if you have sensitive skin).
How much does GLT™ Collagen Healer cost?
With Juvelook, the Essential (full face except the eye area, 4 cc) is ₩495,000 per session, including 10% VAT. See our Juvelook price page for Signature, courses and the under-eye area. For Re2O, we confirm your exact price at consultation, before any treatment.
When can I drink alcohol, exercise or use a sauna after GLT™ Collagen Healer?
At our clinic, we recommend waiting at least 1 week before drinking alcohol, doing exercise that makes you sweat, or using a sauna, jjimjilbang (Korean bathhouse) or hot bath; 2 weeks is better. If it's really necessary, you can start again from 3 days after treatment. Your dermatologist will tell you if your skin needs different aftercare.
When can I wash my face and use skincare, retinol or scrubs?
You can wash your face and use your usual skincare from the same day. Wait at least 2 weeks before using retinol, grainy scrubs or other exfoliating products. Use sunscreen every day; if you're allergic to sunscreen, protect your skin with a wide-brimmed hat, a mask or a UV umbrella.
Can I have wrinkle-relaxing injections on the same day?
Yes. Wrinkle-relaxing injections and collagen injections for wrinkles can both be done on the same day as GLT™ Collagen Healer with Juvelook. The order doesn't matter, but we usually do the wrinkle injections first, because they can feel slightly more uncomfortable, and then the Healer.
Can I have it if I already have hyaluronic acid filler?
Yes. GLT™ Collagen Healer with Juvelook goes into the skin layer, so existing hyaluronic acid filler isn't a problem. Juvelook Volume is different, because it goes into the layer where filler may sit; see Juvelook Volume after filler.
Do I need to stop aspirin, blood thinners or omega-3 before treatment?
For GLT™ Collagen Healer with Juvelook, you don't need to stop them. The product goes into the skin-surface layer after numbing cream, so bleeding is minimal and you may only see small red marks. Please list all your medicines when you book. Never stop a prescribed medicine without checking with the doctor who prescribed it.
Does Juvelook work on darker skin tones?
In our clinic's experience, Juvelook works for all skin tones, and many patients notice brighter, smoother-looking skin. In an animal study in mice, PDLLA reduced pigmentation caused by UVB light, but this hasn't been shown in people. Your dermatologist checks your skin and plans your treatment at consultation.
