Why Juvelook Prices Vary So Much in Seoul: What to Compare
Dr. Judy Hong Jin Joo, MD · Founder & Medical Director · Board-certified dermatologist (Korea)

Juvelook prices in Seoul vary because clinics quote different things: the amount of product in cc, who performs the treatment, how much time is spent with the doctor, numbing and cannula use, aftercare, post-treatment skin care and whether 10% VAT is included. Comparing these items side by side tells you more than comparing headline prices. For Glassy Skin Clinic's own prices, see our Juvelook price page.

Why do Juvelook prices vary so much in Seoul?
01Juvelook prices in Seoul vary mainly because clinics are quoting different things. One quote might cover a small amount of product for a single area. Another might include more product, a longer doctor consultation, cannula delivery, calming skin care and follow-up. Comparing the headline number alone can be confusing. At Glassy Skin Clinic, full-face Juvelook — our GLT™ Collagen Healer with Juvelook, Essential, 4 cc — is ₩495,000 per session, or ₩450,000 per session as a 3-session course, including 10% VAT. You'll find every option on our Juvelook price page.
I'm Dr. Judy (Hong Jin Joo), a board-certified dermatologist in Cheongdam, Seoul. International patients often send us screenshots of prices from different clinics and ask why they differ. This guide explains what goes into a Juvelook price, so you can compare quotes on equal terms. If you're new to the treatment itself, start with our guide to Juvelook.
What goes into a Juvelook price?
02| Price component | Why it changes the price |
|---|---|
| Amount of product (cc) | More product costs more. Different areas and goals need different amounts. |
| Juvelook or Juvelook Volume | These are different products used for different goals: skin quality vs lost volume. [1][2][3] |
| Who performs the treatment | Clinics differ in whether a board-certified dermatologist injects, and whether the same doctor consults and treats. |
| Consultation and treatment time | A longer consultation and a slower, layered technique take more of the doctor's time. |
| Numbing and cannula | Numbing cream and blunt cannulas add cost and time, and are designed to improve comfort and reduce bruising. [4] |
| Downtime | Techniques designed to reduce visible downtime may take longer to perform. |
| Aftercare | Whether the clinic checks in after treatment and how you can reach them once you're home. |
| Post-treatment skin care | Some clinics include calming care, LED or a sheet mask; others charge separately or don't offer it. |
| VAT | Some quotes include 10% VAT; some don't. [5] |
Is the quote for one session or a full series?
03This is one of the most common sources of confusion. Even one session of Juvelook gives results, but for the fullest result it is usually repeated, so some quotes are per session and others are for a course. Two quotes can look very different simply because of this. For how sessions are spaced, see how many Juvelook sessions you need.
What does "one vial" actually mean?
04Juvelook comes in vials of several sizes, [1] and some clinics use a full vial for the full face while others divide one vial across several areas in the same session. What matters is how many cc go into each area; for more, see what a Juvelook 1cc price actually buys.
Questions to ask any clinic about Juvelook pricing
05| Question | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| How many cc will be used, and for which areas? | Whether quotes are comparable |
| Is this Juvelook or Juvelook Volume? | Which product and goal you're paying for |
| Is the quote per session or for a series? | Total budget for your plan |
| Who will inject, and is that doctor a board-certified dermatologist? | Who performs your treatment |
| Will the same doctor do the consultation and the treatment? | Continuity of care |
| How long are the consultation and the treatment? | Time set aside for you |
| Is numbing included? Is a cannula used where appropriate? | Comfort and technique |
| Is post-treatment skin care included? | What is bundled vs extra |
| What follow-up is available after I fly home? | Aftercare for international patients |
| Does the price include 10% VAT? | The real final price |
Asking these questions is not about finding a "right" or "wrong" clinic. It's about making sure you compare the same things.

Planning your budget for a trip to Seoul
07- Ask for a written plan that lists product, cc, areas, number of sessions and VAT.
- Decide between one session and a series. One session gives results; a series gives the fullest result if you can return.
- Allow time for swelling. After Juvelook Volume (GLT™ Collagen Volume Lifting), swelling lasts 3–7 days on average and can last 10–14 days in some people; in our clinic's experience this is part of the normal response as your skin starts building collagen. Plan important events around it. See our guide for international patients.
