Juvelook is a family of PDLLA + hyaluronic acid collagen stimulators made by Vaim in Korea. Juvelook i, Juvelook Skin and Juvelook go into the dermis to improve skin quality and fine lines; Juvelook Volume 100, Juvelook Volume (sold as Lenisna in some countries) and Juvelook G go deeper to restore lost volume. Juvelook Shine is different: it's a topical skincare product, not an injection.

What are the different Juvelook products?

Juvelook is a family of collagen stimulators made by Vaim, a Korean company. Every injectable Juvelook product combines two ingredients: PDLLA (poly-D,L-lactic acid) particles that stimulate your own collagen, and non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid that carries the particles and adds hydration. [1][2][3] The products differ in vial size, particle size and which skin layer they are made for. [1][3]

In Korea, all six injectable products are approved as medical devices for the temporary improvement of facial wrinkles in adults. [1]

Which Juvelook products are for skin quality?

Juvelook i, Juvelook Skin and Juvelook are the skin-layer products. They are injected into the dermis, the layer that gives skin its thickness and firmness, using fine 30–31G needles, a cannula or injection devices. [3]

  • Juvelook i has the smallest particles (about 20 µm on average). Vaim launched it for fine lines. [4]
  • Juvelook Skin is a 30 mg vial launched in June 2026. Vaim describes it as a one-vial-per-patient product for skin quality, including wrinkles, elasticity, pores and scars. [5]
  • Juvelook is the original 50 mg product. Vaim's brochure lists fine lines, atrophic (acne) scars and full-face skin quality, including the forehead, temples and under-eye area. [3]

Which Juvelook products restore volume?

Juvelook Volume 100, Juvelook Volume and Juvelook G are placed deeper, in the lower dermis and fat layer, because they rebuild structure rather than refine the surface. [3]

  • Juvelook Volume 100 is a half-size vial (100 mg) of the same PDLLA and HA mix. [1]
  • Juvelook Volume is the full 200 mg vial. Vaim's brochure lists areas such as the cheeks, nasolabial folds and temples. [3] At our clinic, we also use it for under-eye and mid-cheek hollows.
  • Juvelook G has the largest particles (about 65 µm on average). Vaim launched it for deeper wrinkles. [4]

Is Lenisna the same as Juvelook Volume?

Yes. Lenisna is the name used for Juvelook Volume in some markets outside Korea. Vaim's 2022 export announcement for Brazil describes Lenisna as the product sold in Korea as Juvelook Volume, and Vaim's English brochure presents "Juvelook & Lenisna" with CE marking. [6][3] Each vial contains the same 170 mg of PDLLA and 30 mg of hyaluronic acid. [1][7]

If you have had Lenisna at home, Juvelook Volume in Seoul is the same product.

Is Juvelook Shine an injection?

No. Juvelook Shine is a topical skincare product, not an injection. It is not among the six injectable Juvelook products that Vaim lists as approved medical devices. [1]

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between Juvelook and Juvelook Volume?

Juvelook (like Juvelook i and Skin) has smaller particles and goes into the dermis to improve texture, fine lines and skin quality. Juvelook Volume has larger particles and a bigger vial, and goes into the deeper layers to restore lost volume.

Is Lenisna the same as Juvelook Volume?

Yes. Lenisna is the name used for Juvelook Volume in some markets outside Korea, including Brazil and Europe. It contains the same 170 mg of PDLLA and 30 mg of hyaluronic acid per vial.

What's the difference between Juvelook i and Juvelook Skin?

Both are 30 mg vials with the same PDLLA and hyaluronic acid content. Vaim launched Juvelook i, with an average particle size of about 20 µm, for fine lines. Juvelook Skin was launched in 2026 as a one-vial-per-patient skin-quality product.

Is Juvelook Shine an injection?

No. Juvelook Shine is a topical skincare product that is applied to the skin, not injected. It isn't on Vaim's list of injectable medical devices like the other Juvelook products.

Which Juvelook is right for me?

It depends on your concern and skin. Texture, pores, fine lines and acne scars usually call for a skin-layer product; hollows and lost volume call for Juvelook Volume. Some patients need both, placed in different layers.
