Your preferred treatment is a starting point for a conversation. At Glassy, the plan takes shape around your skin, your priorities and what is appropriate for you now.

You may arrive with a treatment name saved on your phone. You may have read several articles, watched a video or heard about someone else's experience. That preparation can help you describe what you are looking for. We want to hear what brought you here.

We also want to understand the concern behind the name. Is there something about your skin that has been bothering you? Is there a change you hope to see, or an experience you would prefer not to repeat? Those answers help us begin a conversation that is about you.

Why do we start with your concerns?

A treatment name tells us what caught your attention. Your priorities tell us why it matters. You might be thinking about a specific area, the way your skin feels or how a visit will fit around your plans. You may also be unsure how to describe the concern. You can start with your own words.

At Glassy, your dermatologist assesses your skin before recommending a treatment or combination. The aim is to connect what you want with what your skin needs us to consider. An online menu can introduce possibilities; the consultation is where we discuss their relevance to you.

What helps us understand your starting point?

Your skin today, your previous treatment experiences and your practical preferences all belong in that discussion. Tell us what you have tried, what you liked and what felt difficult. If your skin has been especially reactive, or you have a skin condition you want us to know about, bring that into the conversation too.

You do not need to choose a product to make your concern worth discussing. Questions such as “What should I focus on first?” or “Could we keep the plan simple?” are useful starting points. They help us understand the kind of experience you are seeking.

How can the plan take shape?

The plan may bring together a medical treatment and clinical skin care when appropriate. It may involve a different approach from the one you first had in mind. For some visits, the conversation may lead to skin care alone or to postponing a procedure.

The important part is understanding why a recommendation fits your current situation. A package can describe what is included, but it cannot replace an assessment. We do not want the name of a programme to make the decision before we have discussed your skin.

What should you leave the conversation understanding?

You should be able to ask what the plan is trying to address, what it includes and what needs further consideration. You can also ask which parts are priorities and how the proposed plan relates to your own goals.

Start with your skin, not a treatment menu. Bring the treatment name if you have one, and bring the questions behind it. We can begin there.
