Your first visit does not have to begin with a complete treatment plan. You may have a clear goal, a shortlist of procedures or only a feeling that something about your skin has changed. Each is a reasonable place to start a conversation.

This introduction is about the questions and decisions around your visit. For maps, arrival instructions and practical preparation, use Plan Your Visit. Keeping that information in one place helps you refer to the current guidance when you need it.

What can you tell us before you arrive?

Start with the concerns you would like to discuss and the dates you have in mind. If there is a particular treatment you are interested in, you can mention it alongside the reason it appealed to you. You can also say that you would like help deciding where to begin.

Submitting a preferred date is a request. Review the clinic's confirmation and arrival instructions before making your visit. A treatment preference gives the team useful context, but suitability and the final plan still need to be discussed at consultation.

What is useful to bring into the conversation?

Think about previous treatments and anything you would like your dermatologist to understand about them. Details such as the area treated and the product name, if you know it, can help you explain your history. It is also useful to mention travel or important event dates that affect your planning.

You might write down a few questions before coming. What is your main priority? What are you uncertain about? Is there something you would prefer to avoid? A short note in your own words can be more useful than trying to choose every part of a programme in advance.

Who discusses your skin and treatment with you?

At Glassy, your dermatologist carries out your consultation and medical treatment. Clinical skin care and LED care are provided by skin therapists when they are part of the agreed plan. These roles are explained in our About Glassy information.

That distinction matters because the plan may contain different kinds of care. You can ask who will provide each part and why it has been proposed. This story does not describe a fixed sequence that every visitor must follow; the care discussed will depend on the visit.

How do you move from a conversation to a decision?

Ask what the recommendation is intended to address and what it includes. Discuss treatment timing, recovery and follow-up with your dermatologist, especially if you are visiting Seoul for a limited time. Review the treatment and fee details before making your decision.

You do not need to treat the name of the procedure you first requested as the conclusion of the consultation. The assessment may lead to a different approach or to a decision to wait. There is room to clarify the reasons before deciding how to proceed.

What should you clarify before you leave?

If treatment takes place, ask about the instructions relevant to what you received and how to contact the clinic with questions. If a procedure is postponed, ask what the next discussion should cover. The useful takeaway is an understood plan, rather than a list of treatments alone.

To prepare for a visit, start with our practical visit guide or request a consultation. Bring the questions that matter to you. They are part of the visit.
